Lawley is predominantly brownfield with 65% of the land previously used
for open cast and shaft coal mines.
The site extends over some 100ha, with a net developable area of 69ha.
New developments that have taken place in the vicinity occurred at Newdale
and Lawley Common, as well as Lawley Village.
